She was born in St-Anne de Beaupré where her parents had a museum. At young age, she was witness to the construction and decoration of the current Basilica. As the artists were in the midst of completion of their endeavours, she often climbed the scaffolds to get a better look. She especially admired the magnificent mosaic in the central vault created by the artist Labouret. The wax life-sized recreation of the Last Supper, a copy that of Leonardo da Vinci, produced by the Montreal artist J.A. Tho, literaly overwhelmed her. This special setting fascinated as well as shaped her childhood.

An art historian, she taught visual art. Since 1953, went to Europe many times to study and develop her talents. Her canvasses were exhibited at rocamadour, France.

She currently lives in Québec city.

L'espace blanc m'enivre,
m'exalte et me
déchire à la fois.

The white open space intoxicates
exalts me and tears me apart
at the same time.

Die weiBe, lichte, weite Ebene
berauscht mich,
erregt mich und
zerreiBt mich zugleich.

El campo abierto me embriaga,
me exalta, y me despedaza
al mis mo tiempo
